Metrosideros Tomentosa Dalese

Metrosideros Dalese is a recent release and an excellent plant. It’s a low growing, compact shrub with small bright lime green foliage providing great contrast in the garden. During summer it produces clusters of small bright red flowers. This densely growing plant is ideal for low hedges and borders, especially along patios, driveways and paths. Once established it is very low maintenance. Prune as desired to encourage compact new growth. For enhanced growth and flowering we recommend using Troforte M All Purpose Slow Release fertiliser. Metrosideros Dalese grows to 1m height and 1.5m width.

 

Water: Water well and often when freshly planted, and during extended dry periods.

 

Sun: Full sun, tolerant of part shade.

 

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil enriched with organic matter. We recommend using Aussie Organics Premium Soil Conditioner and Charlie Charcoal prior to planting.
